親愛的家長您好：

花蓮地區在107年2月6日深夜發生強烈地震，陸續傳出重大災情，使我們都感到十分震驚、害怕、難以置信、悲慟…，這突發的天然災害，對我們都產生極大的震撼與衝擊。

重大災害事件發生後，人們會想收集更多的資訊，來確保自己和孩子的安全，但過多的資訊可能使我們自己或孩子更感到無力、害怕、生氣或過度的驚嚇。

提醒您透過媒體關心此事件時，能保持冷靜及辨別資訊的重要性，也注意及協助我們的孩子，避免過多的訊息造成他們的驚嚇。

在我們的生活裡發生危機事件時，可能會有以下的急性壓力反應：

1.脾氣變暴躁或是變得特別安靜

2.無法專注、容易發呆恍神、忘東忘西

3.食慾降低或吃很多

4.變得怕黑、怕一個人，或害怕與事件相關的事物(如：害怕車子、怕看新聞)

5.常覺得有靈異事件(如：怕鬼)

如果您與孩子有以上這些反應都是正常的，通常急性壓力反應會在事件發生內一個月慢慢減緩；也有可能您與孩子無上述反應，還是可以如常的生活，就好像什麼事都沒發生，這也是正常的反應，不用擔心。

當您發現孩子出現急性壓力反應時，以下有幾個方式可提供給您陪伴孩子渡過這

段時間：

1.傾聽

傾聽孩子的述說與感受，讓家人感受到被支持與了解；無需給過多建議，如：不要想太多、不要哭了、不要害怕。

2.正常化事件後的感受

讓孩子知道這期間所出現的情緒反應或想法都是正常的。

3.提供陪伴小物

您可協助孩子找出可讓他安心撫慰的東西，如：絨毛娃娃、小毛巾、護身符、十字架等，可讓孩子隨身攜帶或陪伴入睡，以增加安全感。

若您在這段期間感覺孩子的反應讓人擔憂，或超過您能處理的範圍，如：孩子面對親近的人傷亡沒有任何情緒反應、情緒沮喪低落到嚴重影響生活超過一週、有自我傷害的想法或行動…等，您可主動諮詢本中心03-8532774，尋求建議與協助。
